The work behind the tile
Good tile jobs are decided before the first one is set.
Layout planned first
Rows are centered and cuts are placed where they won't draw the eye, at doorways, sinks and the edges of the room.
Flat, solid substrate
Floors and walls are checked and corrected, because tile shows every dip and crack in what's underneath it.
